The program is presented by Melissa Miles who teaches Permaculture at Bucks CountyCommunity College. Melissa also organizes programs at the Eastern PA Permaculture Guild and runs a farm in Chester County.

If you plan to come, please arrive by 10.50 am to get a seat and to make yourself comfortable.

Also, a presentation on Food Coops by Weaver’s Way (http://weaversway.coop/) is planned on Saturday April 21, 2012 from 12 noon to 2.00 pm at Lower Makefield Township Bldg. If you have an interest in learning more or becoming active in a coop locally such as the Doylestown Coop (http://doylestown.coop/) please contact Shawn Kaplan (shawn@doylestown.coop) or me.

With uncertainties in our economic and environmental outlook, Food Coops have potential to bring locally grown food to your table 5 or more days per week complementing farm markets, assisting local farmers, community programs and a healthier lifestyle as well as creating sustainable jobs and helping the local economy as Weaver’s Way has done.
